With United Airlines and continentals Merger complete, Delta and north-west's Merger History, and the pending merger between US Airways and American Looming, the General prediction 10 years ago of 3 Major Airlines in this country has Finally come to Fact,
and the losers in this new Flying age being of course the Customers. Gone are the Free meals and drinks, and in its place the exorbitant Bag fees and so called Premium seat charges if you happen to need 3 more inches of leg room in the Exit row, Customer service is non existent, unless you want to pay a premium for talking to an impatient nonchalant agent, in their place are the Kiosks or the Web. In a way this Industry now reflects the Bigger world around it, in that Choices are less, and Automation has replaced the Human element.
